Themes to Remember, Volume 2 (Book and CD) by Marjorie Kiel Persons
Learn classical music... the easy way! Developed by music educator Marjorie Kiel Persons, this proven teaching method will help children recognize classical music themes, the names of the composition and the composers. By singing funny, light-hearted lyrics to Bach, Beethoven, Brahms from Baroque to Modern, children will automatically learn the names of both composition and composer. The easy-to-follow, hardcover book is illustrated with composer portraits and has biographical information, and definitions of musical terms. The 70-minute audio CD includes music with and without lyrics for fun-learning "Name That Theme" type of games. Each theme is recorded first without lyrics, then with lyrics. Music by keyboards, violins, trumpets, and four adult male and female singers will have you singing along in no time!
