Children are children for such a short time... it is their biological need to enjoy life and have adventures. As caregivers, we must encourage curiousity and play. Children need to be touched by grass, sunshine, fresh air, and birdsong. They need puddles to jump in and trees to climb. They need dirt for mud pies, creepy crawlies, and rocks to skip. They need sticks and bare feet, scraped knees, too. They need stories, songs, paints, costumes. And games that go on without end. It is our task as parents to ensure adventures. A Little Background

I created - and wrote - all these activities for an ecommerce store (EscapadeDirect) that I closed in 2013. These activities were used by parents and teachers, and some of them were even featured in major magazines (Family Fun, Parent's, and more). 

Since opening this new website (EscapadeWarehouse), I decided to add these activities so parents and teachers could still enjoy them. 

I wrote hundreds of activities, so it is a work-in-progress for me to add them here to this website. Check in often - as I will continue to add creative, original activities each week (if not daily).
