This handy wooden base was made specifically for our Real Slate Chalkboard (sold separately). The Real Slate Chalkboard fits easily into the cut-out groove and there is also a groove to hold pieces of chalk. The slate board stands perfectly upright, so both sides of the chalkboard can be used at the same time, if desired.
