LaQ (pronounced "la kew") are the coolest new intellectual construction blocks from Japan!

The LaQ Mini Kit, Shark allows you to create five models: Shark, Shoebill, Rhinosaurus, Elephant, and Kingfisher - or create your own design! Just snap, click and play! Children (and adults) love the SNAP! and CLICK! sounds when piecing the parts together. This sound indicates that the parts are firmly connected. LaQ parts consist of seven different shapes and are available in ten different basic colors plus pastel colors. The seven types of blocks consist of two base parts and five types of joint parts. Piecing these colorful parts together allow children to learn a sense of color coordination.

 The unique pieces of LaQ allow children to build anything they can imagine. Kids learn how to be creative and enjoy expressing their ideas through LaQ models. The shapes of LaQ allow children to think in mathematical and logical ways while building three dimensional objects, polyhedral objects and other geometrical shapes. Did you know... test results show that playing with LaQ aids the growth of a child's brain by stimulating both the left and right spheres of the brain.
